Housing repairs

If you are a tenant, you can request a repair from Clarion Housing using their online service or check on the status of a repair you have already requested. If it is an emergency, you can report emergency repairs 24/7, 365 days a year, by phoning their customer service team on 0300 500 8000.

If you suspect a gas leak, contact the National Gas Emergency Helpline on 0800 111 999.

Debt, benefits and consumer rights advice

Bromley Citizens Advice provides a range of free, impartial and independent advice in areas such as debt, housing, welfare benefits, immigration, family and employment. They have walk in sessions at Anerley Town Hall on Monday and Thursday mornings.

Clarion Housing has a helpline if you are struggling with rent payments or debt.

Contact the Council or your local councillor for help with an issue

Bromley Council has an online reporting system for issues such as flytipping, missed bin collections, graffiti, street cleaning or problems with street lighting.

You can also contact any of the local councillors for your ward to take your issue further if you need to if it relates to the Council or a local issue. You can find yours using the councillor search on the Bromley Council website and searching for your postcode.

For other issues, you can contact your local MP. You can find your local MP using this search. The MP for Beckenham and Penge covering the St Hugh’s estate is Liam Conlon MP.

Clarion Housing has a charitable arm, Clarion Futures, which provides support with training and employment advice, as well as mental health and wellbeing.
