The Meeting Room at St Hugh’s is great for small meetings and presentations, away days, classes, training courses, or tutoring. Or it can just be a peaceful place to work away from home or coffee shops!
It measures approximately 12′ wide x 17½’ long x 8′ high (3.7m x 5.3m x 2.4m) – this comfortably holds 8-12 people. It is carpeted, and has central heating.
Mounted on one wall is a 92″ x 52″ (234cm x 132cm) pull-down projector screen. A projector with a VGA input is available for hirers to use if needed, though please check you have the necessary adapters to connect your device to the projector.
Please note: there is currently no TV/monitor in this room (contrary to the pictures).

You also get use of our kitchen, toilet facilities and outdoor areas.
St Hugh’s Community Centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
You can hire the Meeting Room on a one-off basis, but please contact us to discuss discounts for regular block bookings, or combined rates for Hall + Meeting Room bookings.
If you book for 2 hours or more, we offer an extra 30 minutes total free to use before/after your slot to set up and tidy away.
You will also be required to pay a £100 deposit to secure your booking. If your event goes ahead without issues, this will be refunded in full within 14 days. If you cancel your booking before the event, a £50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit, and the rest will be returned to you.
