Become a trustee

Hilda Lane Community Association (HLCA) is a local charity that runs St Hugh’s Community Centre on Castledine Road, Anerley. The Centre is at the heart of our community, providing activities, support and a welcoming space for all.

HLCA is run by a Board of Trustees who work together to support our Centre Manager and ensure St Hugh’s Community Centre continues to be a vibrant, welcoming hub for local people.

We are looking for three new trustees – experience is helpful, but not essential.

Who we are looking for?

We welcome applications from anyone aged 18 to 100!

We are particularly keen to hear from people who have experience in one or more of:

  • Chairing a group: we want a chairperson to lead and support our charity into the future
  • People with local knowledge and understanding of the Anerley, Penge & Crystal Palace area
  • Experience in financial management and payroll
  • Experience in funding and grant applications
